Why get an ADHD evaluation?

Many adults come to me having spent years — sometimes decades — wondering why certain things feel so much harder for them than for other people. They're smart. They work hard. But they can't finish what they start, they're chronically late, their focus slips at the worst moments, and no amount of effort seems to change the pattern.

A formal ADHD evaluation doesn't just tell you whether you have ADHD. It gives you a detailed picture of how your brain works — the areas where you're genuinely strong, and the areas where you're working against your own neurology. That understanding is the foundation for everything else: treatment, accommodations, strategies that actually fit the way you think.

Get clear answers

Stop wondering. A comprehensive evaluation gives you a definitive picture, not a screening score.

Access accommodations

Documentation for workplace adjustments, school support, or testing accommodations (SAT, GRE, LSAT, MCAT, bar exam).

Guide treatment decisions

Whether you're considering medication, therapy, or coaching, a thorough evaluation informs which approaches are most likely to help.

What the evaluation covers

ADHD rarely travels alone. I conduct a comprehensive assessment that rules out other conditions that can look like ADHD, and identifies any co-occurring conditions that may also need attention.

Attention & Focus

Sustained attention, selective attention, working memory, and the ability to filter distractions.

Executive Function

Planning, organization, impulse control, cognitive flexibility, and the ability to initiate and complete tasks.

Processing Speed

How quickly and efficiently the brain processes information.

Memory

Verbal and visual memory, helping differentiate ADHD from memory disorders.

Mood & Anxiety

Depression and anxiety frequently co-occur with ADHD and can produce overlapping symptoms.

Intellectual Ability

Placing attention deficits in the context of overall cognitive ability.
